Legislative Update
Peachtree Gateway Council on Schools and  Emory LaVista Parent Council Legislative Update
 

We invite you to attend a conversation with our state legislators to discuss the upcoming session and issues that are likely to impact education. This event is sponsored by the Emory LaVista Parent Council (schools in the Lakeside and Druid Hills clusters) and Peachtree Gateway Council on Schools (schools in the Dunwoody, Chamblee and Cross Keys clusters).  As in past years, we will ask each Legislator to speak for a few minutes and then invite Q&A from the audience. 

 

The Legislative Update will take place on Tuesday, January 21st at 9:00 am at John Lewis Elementary School (2630 Skyland Drive, Atlanta 30319).  We will have refreshments and informal conversation at 9:00, then begin the program promptly at 9:15.

Pre-Kindergarten Lottery

Great news!  The 2020-2021 Pre-Kindergarten lottery will be online.  The application process will take place during February-March 2020 to ensure all interested families have ample time to apply through the online process.  Please check the District's website frequently for updates.  In the meantime, please learn more about the registration process through the following link:
